Her last tour date will be November 14 at the Grey Cup Festival Coors Lite Concert Series along with Alan Doyle at the RBC Centre.
She has earned national recognition through Amazon Music’s Indigenous Song Camp in Toronto, as well as from the SOCAN Foundation, Kilometer Music Group, and sākihiwē festival. In 2025, Brandi continues to grow her artistry as part of the OHSOTO’KINO Music Incubator Program with the National Music Centre and the TD Creative Entrepreneur Incubator.
At the heart of her Grit & Glamour EP is Paper Town, a song that speaks to the fragility of industry and community. Inspired by true events, Paper Town tells the story of a once-thriving mill town that lost its lifeblood when the industry collapsed. Co-written and performed with Winnipeg’s Scott Nolan, the song resonates deeply with listeners.
“It’s about more than just a job, it’s about identity, purpose, and the generations of families who built their lives around something that was suddenly gone,” says Vezina.
The Manitoba Arts Council and Manitoba Film & Music have recognized the cultural significance of Paper Town, backing the project and ensuring that this important story reaches audiences far and wide.
Her festival performances include Dauphin’s Countryfest, APTN Indigenous Day Live, Festival du Voyageur, and the Winnipeg International Jazz Festival, and most recently, she performed at the 2025 Burt Block Party sharing the stage with Dean Brody, Owen Riegling, and Hailey Benedict.
In 2024, Brandi’s career reached new heights with national showcases and the Vince Fontaine Legacy Award.
Recent singles like Tornado in a Trailer Park and Old Fashioned Values have landed on SiriusXM Canada’s Indigiverse and Top of the Country, as well as playlists like Boots & Mocs, The Lodge, and Indigenous Now.
